KissKissbankbank, i like the name, is a new musical project… a kind of sellaband, spidart, or MyMajorCompany. The look and feel is good.

The concept is slightly different than above comapnies, they don’t want to fight majors, labels but try to partner with them in order to help artists to raise success. It’s not only about young artists as you can see they’ve Cock Robin in their portfolio.

Interesting, but the heart of the musical battlefield is artists… Find artists with talents. Good luck.

The Dandy Warhols at Le Bataclan

My last show of the year was The Dandy Warhols at Le Bataclan. Okay, I’m a huge fan of The Dandy since a long time… But this concert was great, an excellent set list… No set list with the Dandy but a kind of masterplan and as usual they sing what we want. … Earth to The Dandy Warhols is really good live. Put the whole line up on the same line in front of the scene is an excellent idea.

Of course, we drank with them a little bit (!). A great news, 8 shows in France (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon,…) are previous around march.

Ting Tings

I like the Ting Tings LP but you don’t feel the energy of this band on the record. I saw them on stage at Le festival Les Inrocks. It’s excellent a lot of energy, a crazy crowd. I spent an excellent night with them. Highlight of the show : We Walk, That’s not my name, Great DJ, Shut up…. If you want to see some pics of the event you can go on my flickr.

A good mention to the Black Kids, with an interesting set.

Oasis are Back

I saw Oasis at Le Bataclan (paris). I saw them a long time ago in the same venue… i’m not so young ! Oasis still rocks but i definitely love their old stuff whatever if i like the new single The shock of the lightening. They played : Rock’n'roll star, Supersonic, Champagne supernova, Morning Glory, Falling Down, I’m the Walrus, Wonderwall, Don’t look back…. and many more.

As usual, no lightshows, Liam in front of you without emotions but always the crowd singing along. The concert will on TV (Canal +) around december.
