I don’t know how I found this site but it’s a good idea. It’s for women who have disease. I think when you’ve a Cancer or any other diseases it’s hard to stay what you are.
No idea about the audience of this blog, Roche is behind it… Whatever, if that helps one person it’s a good step.

It’s not really new but I’ve just read two papers one about The Klaxons and the other one about Bjork. They ask the consumers to bring them ideas for their next video clips. I think it’s cool for the fan base. Just imagine… Fan of a band and you’re the creative director of the clip ! I don’t know if it’s just a question of hype or a deeper wave. Question of marketing ? of $/€ ? Or just the will to give a gift, a proximity to their fans….

An excellent news ! Everything from EMI will be avalaible on iTunes. One exception (not a tiny one) The Beatles are not concerned by the deal.
We must notice the most important thing the catalogue is free of rights… No DRM.

I bought many records these last days among them Indochine Hanoï, We’re from Barcelona, Mika and Brett Anderson.
I’m a real fan of Brett Anderson since Suede. The Tears was a real good CD too. But the first solo record is amazing. The voice is still strong, full of emotion. Words are sad but I like this kind of songwriting. It’s really hard to pick a song in this masterpiece but I try : Scorpio Rising, Infinite Kiss, Dust and Rain, Love is dead, Ebony…. The record is on heavy rotation on my turntable, iTunes, car ! I can’t wait the show at the Nouveau Casino.

Just a mention for the Indochine record. I’m a huge fan since the beginning. This record is really interesting and not boring like some records when pop rock meets philarmonic. Great version of Salombo, Justine, Pink Water and L’aventurier. But to be hones, I prefer the DVD version probably for Atomic sky ….
