The Dandy Warhols at Le Bataclan

17 12 2008

My last show of the year was The Dandy Warhols at Le Bataclan. Okay, I’m a huge fan of The Dandy since a long time… But this concert was great, an excellent set list… No set list with the Dandy but a kind of masterplan and as usual they sing what we want. … Earth to The Dandy Warhols is really good live. Put the whole line up on the same line in front of the scene is an excellent idea.

Of course, we drank with them a little bit (!). A great news, 8 shows in France (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon,…) are previous around march.

A few pics on my FLickr.

Oasis are Back

12 11 2008

I saw Oasis at Le Bataclan (paris). I saw them a long time ago in the same venue… i’m not so young ! Oasis still rocks but i definitely love their old stuff whatever if i like the new single The shock of the lightening. They played : Rock’n'roll star, Supersonic, Champagne supernova, Morning Glory, Falling Down, I’m the Walrus, Wonderwall, Don’t look back…. and many more.

As usual, no lightshows, Liam in front of you without emotions but always the crowd singing along. The concert will on TV (Canal +) around december.

Smirnoff Experience Paris after all

10 07 2008

July 2nd … day of the Smirnoff Experience in Paris. A great event with a great Band (Duran Duran) and an excellent Mark Ronson. Highlights of the show : Duran Duran played Tel Aviv, a perfect version of A View to a Kill and the version Song 2/Tricked out.

It was amazing because a lot of people from different countries and a really few french people ! I know it’s difficult (impossible) in France to do some communication around acohol. But to be honest the event was really well organized. Cool people like Eva Mendes. An open bar until 1.AM, a good sound, people from Smirnoff and the staff very cool.

After the show they bring all of us in car from La Cigale to the Ozu. In my car, everybody sing along Rio and Wild Boys. Just imagine a car with 50 people who sing along Duran Duran in Paris !
